Yes...I'm trying another blog!

I wanted to try and blog again, because it's a new year...(always a good time to start something)...and because I was inspired by BYOB...(bake your own bread)...from http://www.breadexperience.com/.  So here we go and hopefully me and my camera will be able to keep up!!

  1. I love your optimism. We might have some things in common. Anyway, I have never ground my own wheat. Where do you get wheat to grind, and any other advice? Hanna

  2. Hello Hanna, so glad that we can be baking buddies!! I have a Nutramill wheat grinder http://www.pleasanthillgrain.com/nutrimill.aspx and this is what I use to grind my wheat berries into flour. I live on the west coast and we have a store called Winco where I purchase alot of my grains. Also there is a company called Azure Standard www.azurestandard.com/ where I purchase things that I can't get at Winco. If you are really interested in grinding your own flour, just research it a little bit, and I'm sure you will be able to come up with something in your area. Let me know what you find out, and if I can answer any more questions!!
